Life is about adapation. Learning to move ahead with a new perspective is how we carry on.

In the final hours of preparation for the first TEDxBrevard event, Helene came to town.

We were very grateful for the few hours we had to contact everyone and to ensure they were safe. There was a quick pivot of over 100 people in getting the event paused, not knowing if it could be rescheduled.

Thankfully, with the help of Kelsey Akers at Brevard College, the entire TEDx team, all the speakers, musicians, vendors, artists, we were able to reschedule the event on Saturday, May 3, 2025.

In light of the recent wildfires, we see again how vulnerable each of us are individually and with community, we can rebuild and rejoice, knowing we are resilient.

Thank you to everyone for showing up in big ways to bring TEDxBrevard to fruition. With your help, our community presents from a local stage to a world audience.
